The science fiction of the past is now becoming a reality. We can see chatbots and digital assistants.
Thanks to the Artificial Intelligence (AI) advent.
AI is one of the quickest growing technologies in the current job sector. The demand for AI professionals is beyond the existing qualified AI engineers. AI has been evolving for a long time.
Earn best credentials to become an AI Engineer
Deep learning, soft computing, neural networks, driverless cars, or robotic systems can perhaps inspire you. If so, consider becoming an artificial intelligence engineer.
Artificial Intelligence engineers are required because AI impacts biology, computer science, autonomous vehicle engineering, video gaming, and linguistics. You can earn a more excellent salary and also explore attractive knowledge-based opportunities as an artificial intelligence engineer.
You may consider becoming an artificial intelligence engineer or simply learning more about enticing AI projects and salaries. Many renowned training providers offer programs that help individuals know and improve real-world artificial intelligence and machine learning skills. They also make them stand out from the crowd by providing beneficial industry-recognized AI ML certification.
Based on a famous report, AI predicts that human lives will continue by 2025 and eliminate future work. However, new career possibilities for people with the right and appropriate skills will be open simultaneously.
Who is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer?
An AI engineer is a person who works with conventional machine learning techniques such as natural language processing and neural networks to create models that power AI-based applications.
The salary outlook for an AI Engineer in 2021
The average salary for a US artificial intelligence engineer is $164,749 in 2021, according to ZipRecruiter. Salary ranges from $142,500 (25th percentile) and $216,500 (90th percentile), and it can be dependent on qualifications, education, location, and experience.
Job prospects & demand for AI Engineer
This year, Gartner reports, AI is bound to generate 2.4 million jobs.
According to Gartner’s report, by 2021, AI growth is set to accelerate the industry value by almost US$ 2.9 billion and to regain the productivity of the workforce by 6.2 billion hours.
Almost 30 percent of all B2B businesses will employ AI in 2020, according to Gartner, to speed up at least one of their sales processes.
The AI market is planned for 190 billion dollars in the industry by 2025.
The IDC estimates that global AI systems expenditure will hit a level of USD 57.6 billion by 2021.
75% of industrial companies’ applications will use AI until 2021, according to IDC.
AI is now one of the fastest-growing technologies in today’s jobs market. The demand for AI professionals is higher than that of the existing trained AI engineers.
Artificial intelligence Salaries
Artificial intelligence engineers are top-rated, and their pay reflects this. The location is another aspect that influences salaries. AI salaries profit from an excellent paycheck recipe: the hot sector and strong demand for scarce abilities.
AI engineers receive outstanding salary compensation for AI jobs with six figures. A young AI engineer earns almost USD 124,542 pa, compared to USD 171,715 a year. In contrast, a senior AI engineer earns around US$ 257,530 a year, on average. However, if you have the credentials that firms need, it can go far higher.
Although the average AI programmer’s salary depends on the country’s region between around $100,000 and $150,000, these are all in the developer/coder domain. You want to be an AI engineer to make the big bucks. According to Paysa, another job search site, an artificial intelligence engineer receives $171,715, from $124,542 at the twenty-fifth percentile to $201,853 at the seventy-five percentile, with top earners getting an average of over $257,530.
Why so much demand? Since many come from the background of non-programming. The IEEE states that Ph.D. graduates in biology and physics return to school to study AI and apply it in their profession. They must combine the technical skills and know many different languages and hardware architectures to understand the data. Lastly, engineers are scarce and often costly.
Why are AI salaries so high?
Indeed, AI is not a discipline that many developers can teach themselves. 86.7 percent of developers were self-taught, according to a Stack Overflow survey. But it’s not the esoteric art of artificial intelligence, and it is for languages such as Java, Python, and PHP.
It demands advanced computer science degrees and also a Ph.D. Paysa found in a study that 35% of AI jobs need a Ph.D. and 26% need a Master’s degree.
Several disciplines are needed, such as Python, C++, STL, Perl, Perforce, and APIs, such as OpenGL and PhysX. Also, a background in physics or other life science is required because the IA does essential calculations.
You, therefore, need a lot of skills, not just one or two, to be an efficient and in-demand AI developer.
Prerequisites — job skills needed
First, the right skills are acquired to enter the AI industry. Here is a significant aspect because becoming an IA engineer demands that the candidate is incredibly good in programming but must be excellent in theoretical and practical terms of their software development tools and techniques.
Furthermore, AI engineers and experts need to consider the continuous delivery, continuous implementation (CI/CD), and continuous integration of software development. You need to understand robust methods to conduct different test activities — behavior-driven growth and test-driven development.
They need to have a comprehensive understanding of where machine learning will fit into the given continuous delivery pipelines and continuous integration. Simply put, AI practitioners need to understand how agile processes function in technology organizations. To get there, your level of knowledge in AI will possibly take you five to ten years.

A couple of weeks ago, the South Korean automaker Kia Motors teased its new electric car, the Kia EV6. Unlike its sibling, Kia Niro EV, the EV6 is the first electric car to use a dedicated electric-global modular platform (E-GMP).
It’s the same platform that underpins its cousin Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. As Kia EV6 and Ioniq 5 are built on the same E-GMP platform, we expected them to have similar specs.
However, as Kia reveals more details about crossover SUV Kia EV6, it seems it has a slight edge over Ioniq 5.
Now, without any further ado, let’s get straight to why we think EV6 stands a bit taller than its cousin.
Is Kia EV6 Electric Car Better Than Hyundai Ioniq 5?
Kia EV6 Battery Pack And Range
Kia EV6 will be available in two battery configurations: a 58 kWh battery and a bigger one with a 77.4 kWh pack.
With a bigger battery pack, it’ll be able to deliver an electric range of up to 510 km (317 miles). However, this range is according to the WLTP cycle and upon calculating it as per EPA standards, it’ll be somewhere around 300 miles.
Still, the figure is better than its cousin Ioniq 5 which offers up to 480 km (298 miles) as per the WLTP cycle.
Based on the two battery packs, they’ll be available in multiple configurations.
There will be a standard variant with a single motor and RWD configuration and a high-end variant with AWD configuration. Both of these options will be offered with a smaller as well as bigger battery pack.
In addition, there’ll be GT and GT-line variants with small visual tweaks like yellow brake calipers and high-performance tuning.
The GT variant is a new concept in Kia EV6 which misses out on Hyundai Ioniq.
Performance
Since there are multiple variants, there are different power outputs. For instance, the base variant with a single RWD motor and a 58 kWh battery pack produces about 168 HP. Meanwhile, the long-range variant with a bigger battery module and AWD configuration generates about 321 HP.
In contrast, the top end variant of Hyundai Ioniq makes around 301 HP and 605 Nm of torque.
On the other hand, the GT variant of the Kia EV6 is completely out of the league electric car. It has the ability to generate an output of up to 577 HP and 740 Nm of torque.
Furthermore, it accelerates real quick and takes only 3.5 seconds to reach 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph).
Impressive Towing Capacity
Kia EV6 offers a maximum towing capacity of 1600 kg (3527 lbs) which is quite impressive considering that it’s a compact crossover SUV.
Before we move ahead, here’s a quick recap of the parameters where the electric car Kia EV6 leads its cousin Ioniq 5 EV.

Kia EV6 Best Features
Well, in terms of features, there isn’t any noticeable difference between the Kia EV6 and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV.
Similar to Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 is also equipped with features like the Vehicle To Load (V2L) function, an 800 V high-speed multi-charge system, Augmented Reality (AR) head-up display, similar curved dashboard displays, and much more.
However, there are changes in the interior design and outer appearance of course.
If we discuss the design details then the most significant change one would notice is the new logo of the automaker. Unlike the old logo, the new one isn’t encased in an oval shape frame. Instead, it’s designed with the company’s name written in beautiful calligraphy which looks refreshing.
However, we believe this new logo is designed specifically for its the upcoming EVs based on its new E-GMP platform.
Price And Launch Date
As of now, the automaker has not made any announcements regarding the price or launch date of the Kia EV6. However, considering the specs, we believe it’ll fall somewhere between $40,000 to $50,000. Its price will be quite close to Tesla Model Y.
Furthermore, the GT variant will be priced quite higher and will fall under the prime segment.
Speaking of the launch date, it’ll arrive in the market either in late 2021 or early 2022.
Kia EV6 Expected Price If It Comes To India
Looking at the popularity of Kia’s vehicles in India, it would not be a bad decision to introduce its electric cars in the country as well.
However, the EV infrastructure and charging network in India is still under the initial phase of development. This is the biggest hurdle in the acceleration of EV adoption in India.
After evaluating these factors, we believe it would take a couple of years for it to arrive on the shores of India. Hence, it would be too soon to expect the price of the Kia EV6 in India.
Final Thoughts
Keeping aside the GT variant, the specs of both these electric cars are almost similar. Still, if we closely compare then although, with a small margin, Kia EV6 leads in most of the crucial parameters.
However, the same EV technology has been incorporated in both cars, therefore, there’ll be a similar riding experience.

Tesla CEO Elon Muskis one of the most creative individuals that we’ve come across in the history of humankind. In 2018, when he was stuck in traffic — the next thing he did was build an underground tunnel and started selling hats. After selling 50,000 hats, he eventually got bored of hats and started selling flamethrowers, and he sold 25,000 of them.
At this point, it’s safe to assume that Elon Musk can do anything, right? Right. The world’s richest man is now aiming to develop an open-source, Linux-based operating system called DogeOS. Yes, you heard that right. DogeOS will compete with the likes of Android and iOS.
Interestingly, it’s rumored that a modified version of this OS will also power the gigantic touchscreen displays that we see in Tesla Model S, Model 3, and other Tesla EVs.
How Does DogeOS Look Like?
We don’t know how the OS will look, so; we reached out to the developers Elon hired to develop the OS. Luckily, Elon has permitted them to send the pictures of UI/UX elements of the DogeOS. The OS has a striking resemblance to 11-year old Android Icecream Sandwich.
Here’s your first look at the DogeOS:
As you can see, the OS’s UI is on par with most modern-looking mobile OSes out there. In fact, in some areas, the OS is significantly ahead of its competition. The app icons are inspired by Dogecoin’s Shiba Inu dog and look aesthetically pleasing.
The OS’s Elon Software center will have apps on sale that can only be bought using Dogecoin or Bitcoin. You can also order a Tesla on the store using only Bitcoin.
We at Fossbytes love innovation, and after seeing this open-source masterpiece, we’re pretty sure that the upcoming days for open-source software are going to be bright, just like this April fools day.
Also, did we mention that you can dual-boot DogeOS alongside Windows on your PC? Yes, the OS is very flexible.
Okay, enough about this already. Do let us know your thoughts about DogeOS in the comments section below.
Also, if you like our April Fool’s Day prank, then try it on your friends too.
Call of Duty Mobile recently released a community update over its Reddit page. The post, which is regarding the beta test version of COD Mobile, includes many changes. Interestingly, the post also confirmed that Zombies would return to the COD Mobile global version by the end of this year.
However, the highlight of the community update is the new “weapon balance” system. According to the devs, the new weapon balance system will focus on guns performing to their respective types. To put it simply, SMGs will perform well in close range with better mobility, like they’re supposed to. Moreover, Snipers would no longer be good in CQQ as they’ve been lately. These were much-needed changes, and COD Mobile is testing these changes before putting them in the next COD Mobile season.
Weapon balance in COD Mobile Beta
The weapon balance in COD Mobile beta will segregate the guns according to their respective categories. For instance, Assault rifles will have a different play type compared to an LMG. With these changes in mind, the devs have shared key objectives of different categories of guns.
Assault Rifles: Range and accuracy will be improved to ensure a better combat experience in the range of 15-30 meters. Weapon handling, bullet trajectory, and recoil will also be differentiated.
SMG: Close-range combats will be improved with a focus on higher mobility and optimized bullet trajectory.
LMG: Accuracy and damage efficiency will be improved for better long-range fights (more than 30 meters away).
Sniper: Attachments will be optimized; moreover, further combinations of attachments will be provided. Close-range combat will be weakened for snipers.
Changes made to the guns in COD Mobile beta
The changes are made to a few select guns so far, including AS-VAL, QQ9, and MAN-O-WAR. And without further ado, let’s get into the changes introduced to these guns in the beta.
AS-VAL
The newest addition to the list of assault rifles in Call of Duty Mobile is the AS-VAL. Since its introduction, many players have criticized the gun for having high recoil compared to its weak damage. Now, the devs have made a few tweaks to make the gun an overall better weapon.
Increased the bullet velocity
Reduced the recoil
Increased the range on AS-VAL
Reduced the hit flinch (weapon shake when being hit with enemy bullets)
Changed the damage variables when hitting different body parts
Increased hip firing bullet spread
QQ9
This SMG is often criticized for having a high recoil and a bad range. The changes made to QQ9 will directly address these issues.
Increased the range of QQ9
Improved the precision of hip-fire and ADS
Improved recoil control
MAN-O-WAR
This assault rifle has been the meta in the current season, with almost every other player using it. However, the devs haven’t made significant changes to this formidable weapon, but just one.
Decreased the hip-fire precision
Note: To know about how to make the best custom loadouts in COD Mobile, read here.
Changes made to weapon attachments
Alongside weapon changes in the beta, COD Mobile has also implemented some changes to weapon attachments for better weapon balance. Here are the changes made:
Monolithic suppressor
Removed slow movement speed when aiming
Increased the time to ADS (7% to 12%) (Except SMGs)
Huge suppressor
Eliminated the vertical recoil control
Increased the time to ADS (16% to 20%)
MIP light barrel (short) (for MAN-O-WAR)
Increased movement speed (2% to 3%)
Increased vertical recoil control (6% to 8%)
These are the changes introduced so far in the beta test version of Call of Duty mobile. Additionally, these changes, with some others, could be implemented in season 3 of COD Mobile.
The beta is available to download only for android devices. The devs have not mentioned when the beta testing is going to end. However, the beta has a limited number of seats. We suggest you hurry and find a spot in COD Mobile’s beta to test out these changes yourself.
