Call of Duty Mobile Developers To Release ‘Contra’ Mobile Game Worldwide

Contra is one of those video games that takes us on a nostalgia trip every time we think about it. Now, it looks like the legendary title is ready to come back to us as a mobile game.

In 2017, TiMi Studios, the developer of Call of Duty Mobile, partnered with Konami and Garena to release ‘Contra Return,’ the mobile version of Contra. The game is already out in selected countries and due to its huge success, TiMi Studios is planning for a wider release of the game, possibly worldwide.

‘Contra: Return’ was first released in China on June 6, 2017, and in Taiwan a year after. Following all the positive feedback, Garena published the English version of the mobile game in other Southasian countries in 2018. Now, TiMi Studios announced that they are planning to release the game in other regions as well.

Everything in ‘Contra: Return’ is pretty much similar to the 90’s version of Contra, including music, weapons, and characters. Nevertheless, if you’re wondering how the game actually looks like, then you can go ahead and watch this gameplay.

As of now, the game is completely story-based and only has an offline mode. However, it’s not impossible for the developers to make an online version of the Contra game before releasing it worldwide.

Moreover, if you’re a big Contra fan, then you can take part in a survey to make the game even better before its wider release.
