With Season 8 just around the corner, it’s time to say our goodbyes to Call of Duty Mobile Season 7. Previously, there were speculations that Season 8 would be called ‘Apocalypse Day‘. However, those speculations were wrong because the official name of COD Mobile Season 8 is ‘The Forge.’
COD Mobile announced the official name for the upcoming season on Twitter while teasing the new ‘Highrise‘ Multiplayer map.
As predicted, the season 8 will bless Call of Duty Mobile players on July 10. As of now, we don’t know much about the upcoming season. However, there have been rumors that season 8 might introduce the Russian villain from Call of Duty Modern Warfare series, Makarov.
According to the rumors, the storyline of Call of Duty Season 8 can show an apocalypse and Makarov might have to do something with it.
COD Mobile players are extremely excited to perform strange maneuvers in Highrise, a fan-favorite map from Modern Warfare 2. Also, the ‘Katana’ operator skill previously teased in the beta version of COD Mobile, will make its debut in Season 8.
Other than this, we know very little about the upcoming season of COD Mobile. Nevertheless, it’s only a few hours until we experience all the new content that’s about to arrive in Call of Duty Mobile Season 8.
