Recently, Riot Games released Valorant, a 5v5 tactical shooter game for Windows. The game was already insanely popular when it was in closed beta. That is why millions of new players rushed out to try out the game as soon as it was released.
However, several players were disappointed that Valorant doesn’t have a Ranked mode. Well, rejoice, because now it’s confirmed that Valorant will get a Competetive Mode next week.
Valorant already had a Ranked mode when the game was in closed beta, but it didn’t make the final cut for some reason.
Nevertheless, Joe Ziegler, the game director of Valorant, confirmed on Twitter that “rated (competitive mode) will likely be out sometime next week.”
Hey everyone, It's been hectic, so I haven't had a lot of time to post. To answer the biggest question: rated (competitive mode) will likely be out some time next week. We're spending this week putting together that release and making sure it is good. =)

Ziegler’s confirmation on the arrival of Ranked mode was enough to excite Valorant fanatics. A lot of players were desperately waiting to climb up the ranks in Valorant, and now, their wish will come true.
Some players are also concerned that the upcoming Valorant update might break their PCs. That’s because players are already criticizing Valorant’s anti-cheat software, Vanguard, for crashing their system. So, they want the developers to fix these issues before releasing the ranked mode.
Is the computer freezing issue going to be solved? Please dont release ranked while its still going. Community will be very toxic and games will go 4v5 or worse very often.

However, it’s still great that Valorant’s team is listening to the community and giving players what they want. So, hopefully, further updates might also fix some of the concerning issues with the game.
