Call of Duty Mobile is all set to release Season 9 in a few days before the expiration of Season 8 Battle Pass. However, there is still no official statement from Activision regarding the theme of COD Mobile Season 9.
That being said, there are rumors that Season 9 will have a World War II theme and will be called ‘Conquest.’
If you’re following the story of Call of Duty Mobile through in-game comics, then you must know that Season 8 had an apocalyptic theme. According to some leaks, Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 will take us back to World War 2, and that’s why we are getting the Shipment map in Multiplayer.
For those of you who don’t know, a different version of the Shipment map is also available in Call of Duty: World War 2.
Other than that, there are speculations that Season 9 Battle Pass will introduce four new characters and one new gun in Call of Duty Mobile. The new characters reportedly are Lev Kravchenko, Viktor Reznov, Edward Richtofen, and Nikto. Interestingly, Viktor Reznov was also introduced in the COD Mobile Season 8 comic.
Moreover, the new gun for Season 9 Battle Pass will be much-requested Kar98K. Other than that, the four primary weapons in COD Mobile will get new skins flaunting the World War 2 theme.
However, it should be noted that these are just rumors; we can’t be sure about the theme or title of Season 9 until we get an official word from Activision.
