OnePlus Users Can Now Play PUBG Mobile At 90fps Exclusively Till September 6

Playing PUBG Mobile at a frame rate higher than 60fps has been quite a task until now. For that, you’d either have to be in China or download the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile which is called Game for Peace. Apart from that one also requires a smartphone that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz or above.

Thankfully, Tencent Games has decided to add support for 90fps in PUBG Mobile. If you use OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 7T, or OnePlus 7 Pro, you can exclusively play the game at a smooth 90 frames per second until September 6. After that, any PUBG Mobile player will be able to get the 90fps experience on any smartphone that supports higher frame rates.

90fps on PUBG Mobile will arrive for the US and other countries, but not for countries like China, Japan, or Korea. Maybe because players in these regions have quite a competitive PUBG Mobile communities but Tencent Games hasn’t shed light on the reason yet.

Sadly, iPhone users shouldn’t expect the game to run at 90fps because iPhone screens are still stuck at 60Hz. However, the 120Hz iPad Pro could support the feature.

The PUBG Mobile team says that players will be able to benefit from the higher frame-rate when running, panning, using the scope, or spotting other players at a distance.

It will give a clearer and sharper views while running or using vehicles, allowing players to quickly identify surroundings while traversing the diverse landscape at high speeds. And in dense areas such as Pochinki, Sosnovka, and the Military Base, it will deliver a smooth and accurate experience in aiming.

Overall, it was a much-awaited update the game required and we are finally glad to see it.
