The OnePlus 8T has been in the rumors for a while now. Recent renders and specifications leaked by Pricebaba and OnLeaks give us a complete picture of the phone.
According to internal schematics, the OnePlus 8T leaks shows the phone with a flat edge-to-edge display. It’ll sport a hole-punch selfie camera on the top-left corner. The back of the smartphone will house a quad-camera setup. Surprisingly, the camera bump is similar to what we’ve seen on Samsung flagships this year.
OnePlus 8T Specifications
Starting with the display, the renders indicate at a 6.55-inch full HD+ resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. After the snappy 90Hz on the OnePlus8, this would be a nice addition to the OnePlus 8T.
The hole-punch selfie camera is expected to be a 32MP unit. A curved back panel on the device back will house the rectangular camera setup on the top-left corner. The leaks suggest a 48MP primary unit, a 16MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and a 2MP portrait/depth sensors.
Talking about performance, for which OnePlus phones are loved, there are some interesting upgrades. The leaks say that the OnePlus 8T will come sport a Snapdragon 865 processor, coupled with 8GB RAM+128GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage variants.
A Previous OnePlus 8T leak had pointed at a Snapdragon 865+ SoC, which is snappier and more suited for a smartphone in OnePlus’s ‘T’ lineup. The phone will house a 4,500 mAh battery, rumored to come with 65-watt Warp-Charge. This is an upgrade over the current 30-watt Warp-Charge. It’ll likely run Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 out-of-the-box.
Renders show the phone sporting volume rockers on the left, the power button, and the alert slider on the right side. There’s a noise-canceling microphone on the top of the phone. The bottom will have the SIM tray, USB Type-C port, and the speaker grill.
